Post-Tenure Review

Post-Tenure Review (PTR) is a process established by the Board of Trustees whereby all tenured faculty members, except those in specific situations, must undergo a comprehensive performance review no less often than every six years. Specific situations result in:Ìý

  • suspension of a PTR period,ÌýÌý
  • restarting of PTR because of an alternative comprehensive review,ÌýÌý
  • starting of the PTR period upon conclusion of a majority (>50%) administrative appointment,ÌýÌý
  • exception of a scheduled PTR related to retirement, andÌý
  • deferral or modification of PTR for good cause approved by the Chief Academic Officer.Ìý
