The University has an agreement with the local undergraduate University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Student Health Services to provide medical care forÌýUTHSC Students rotating in Chattanooga.Ìý ÌýUTC UHS is ready to accept UT Medical and PA students for student health related issues again.ÌýÌý

If you are in need of medical attention, please call 423.425.2266 to schedule an appointment and kindly identify yourself as a UT Medical or PA Student.Ìý Please bring your UT ID and insurance card to each visit in case there are services for which there is a charge.
In addition, in case their are problems in being seen at UTC HSC, we have arranged for UT Medical and PA students rotating in Chattanooga to be seen at an Erlanger practice office called Academic Internal Medicine (AIM).Ìý Please see information below about location, hours, and contacting the practice:

- If you are in need of medical attention please call 423.778.8179 and identify yourself as a Medical Student.Ìý The AIM scheduling office will work to accommodate as soon as possible.Ìý The AIM option is not limited to just UT Medical and PA Students.Ìý Visiting students may also use the location but be sure to bring your health insurance card and information so AIM can determine your co-pay and file your insurance.

UT Medical and PA Students rotating in Chattanooga still have full access to the resources
from the main UTHSC Campus through University Counseling Services (UCS). The office ofÌýUniversity Counseling ServicesÌýoffers counselors that provide individual, group and crisis counseling for students,
residents, and fellows. For students in Chattanooga, sessions can be arranged via
phone or virtual platform.

The Chattanooga Campus is so pleased that as of mid-January 2023, we have a full-time
Counselor who is onsite in the UT College of Medicine - Chattanooga Dean's Office,
M – F:Ìý Lucy White, MEd, LPC-MHSP, Counselor, Educational & Behavior Counseling Services.

Location:Ìý Whitehall Building, Suite 104, directly across from the main Erlanger Health System, and in the same area as Dr. Panda, Tiffany Nabors, and Pam Scott.
She has flexible, late hours on Tuesday's and Thurdays and strives to be very flexible for her clients.ÌýÌý
Lifebridge Physician Health Initiative
In addition to the services provided above, the local Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society has broadened the scope of its to include up to six free and confidential counseling sessions per year to Medical Students (UT and Visiting Students), UT PA Students, Residents, and Fellows -- separate from any other covered services available.Ìý Just identify yourself as being associated with the UT College of Medicine - Chattanooga.
