Emily Waggoner has been with UT since 2022, serving within the Pediatric Language
Clinic (PLC). Ms. Waggoner provides center-based services to families of children
in Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) with early indicators for autism or
an autism diagnosis. She also provides supervision for graduate students working with
children in the center-based program. She is passionate about empowering parents/caregivers
to assist their children in their roles as advocates. ÌýHer interests include early
intervention, autism, augmentative and alternative communication, and bilingualism.
