Abraham has over 25 years’ experience advising on all aspects of employment law and is well recognised within the legal industry. Abraham has been responsible for successfully defending numerous organisations dealing with a wide variety of employment law and workplace relations disputes. He has extensive experience dealing with unfair dismissal claims, general protection proceedings, white collar fraud claims and litigation, common law breach of contract claims and is particularly well recognised within the legal community as an expert in restraint of trade and confidential information litigation; for example, one client successfully enforced a two year restraint in the Federal Court, and Abraham has assisted other clients protect their businesses when employees have attempted to misappropriate their former employers’ intellectual property and confidential information.
Whilst a committed and experienced litigator who will press his clients’ interests when necessary, Abraham appreciates that litigation should be a last resort and will therefore provide strategic advice to ensure his client’s best interests are protected from both a costs and reputational perspective. Abraham’s expertise is also often sought when dealing with all aspects of bullying and harassment allegations. He has also undertaken investigations for large and small corporations, and has also advised companies about what steps to implement once investigations have been concluded to minimise legal risk.
